Cooper Associates Wealth Management named St. James’s Place Large Business of the Year
We’re pleased to announce that we have added another accolade to our roster. Our continued growth and performance excellence has been recognised as we were awarded Large Business of the Year at the 2024 St. James’s Place annual company meeting. 59 firms were in the running for the award, cementing our position in the top 10 St. James’s Place firms in the UK out of 4,500.
Our 44-strong team went against the grain of performance for many other financial services firms in 2023. Despite the challenges the year presented, including consumer duty, sustained rises in interest rates and continued market volatility, we had our best year ever with a 26% increase in revenue.

Our continued accomplishments enabled us to invest in growth and performance. In early 2023, we opened the doors – with the help of Rugby Star, Mike Tindall – to our Cheltenham office, welcoming five new members to the team as a result. This year, we aim to double our Cheltenham presence.
We also continue to develop our wider team through our industry-leading LEAP Accelerator programme. An entry into the financial industry for all, LEAP offers a select number of outstanding individuals the opportunity to switch to a career in Financial Services. With no experience necessary, just a hunger to learn and a desire to work in a career where there are no limits, the programme welcomes applicants from all backgrounds. Bankers, professional sports players, and police detectives have all entered a new advisory role with us.
