The Cooper Associates Foundation supports bibic

The Cooper Associates Foundation has donated £4,455 to support bibic, the Langport based organisation supporting those with neurological and developmental difficulties.
bibic deliver assessments and bespoke developmental therapy to children and young adults aged between six months to 25 years old, as well as training to parents and professionals. Individuals are seen with or without a diagnosis and support a wide range of difficulties, including conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Global Developmental Delay, Down’s Syndrome and sensory processing difficulties.
Assessments are delivered by a bibic Developmental Therapist to identify strengths, weaknesses and difficulties and a bespoke programme of support is designed to address the underlying causes of those difficulties.
Chelsey Oxley, Therapy Manager at bibic, said:
“bibic has supported more children, young people and their families in the last year than ever before. Despite us hiring additional therapists our waiting list continues to grow at pace. A clear demonstration of the need for our services. We are incredibly grateful to the Cooper Associates Foundation for their support of bibic. Having such loyal funders will allow us to help more families at a quicker rate. We could not do the work we do without you – thank you!”
Victoria Tremear, Trustee of The Cooper Associates Foundation, said:
“Our Foundation is delighted to provide bibic with funding for a full assessment, individualised therapeutic programme and six months of support for three children and young people with disabilities and additional needs. bibic monitor progress for at least 6 months – often years – introducing therapies to keep pace with development to provide long-term intensive support. No other UK organisation delivers such individualised and holistic therapeutic assessments, intervention and support. We are so pleased we could support their request for funding.”
The Cooper Associates Foundation is always looking for local charities and organisations to support. If you have a charity that is looking for funding we would be delighted to hear from you. Visit the Cooper Associates Foundation for more information.
