The Cooper Associates Foundation is delighted to be supporting the Christmas Appeal organised by Mountbatten Nursing Home.

Mountbatten Nursing Home has been producing Christmas gift bags for a number of children at local schools, with demand increasing each year.

The donation from the Cooper Associates Foundation enabled the appeal to purchase a range of gifts including games, stationary, toiletries, chocolates, sweets and footballs.

Donations were delivered to the following schools and passed to students who were at risk of receiving no presents at Christmas.

Pyrland School
Selworthy Special School
Monkton Wood Academy
Holy Trinity Primary Taunton
The Castle School
Minerva Primary School
Sky Academy
St James Church School, Taunton
Creech St Michael Primary School
Bishop Fox’s School
Silver Bridge

Kevin Parsons, Trustee of Cooper Associates Foundation, said:

“Our Foundation is delighted to once again support Mountbatten Nursing Home’s Christmas Appeal. At this time of year it can be easy to forget those living in less fortunate circumstances. Through this appeal, it’s heartening to know more children in the region will receive a present this Christmas.”
