Christmas Sparkle was founded in 2015 with the aim of giving a Christmas present to every child aged 0-18 years living in difficult circumstances in the Taunton and Wellington community. They work with local charities and agencies – such as the foodbank, health visitors, Halcon One, Parent and Family Support advisers (who work with vulnerable families in schools throughout Taunton Deane) and domestic abuse services, who identify the recipients for gifts.
Last year, due to the generosity of local people, Christmas Sparkle were able to distribute gifts to over 1,000 children and young people. The Cooper Associates Foundation is delighted to be supporting the Christmas Sparkle appeal this year, helping to spread some Christmas cheer to those who otherwise may have missed out on receiving a present.
