About the role:
As part of our continued growth, Cooper Associates Group is seeking to appoint a commercially minded and strategically focused Finance Director to join our Senior Leadership Team.
This is an executive-level appointment, responsible for overseeing the shaping and delivery of the Group’s financial strategy, supporting board-level decision-making, and ensuring robust financial governance across the entire Group.
The successful candidate will play a central role in driving sustainable growth, enhancing performance, and strengthening financial controls within a dynamic and fast-growing organisation
Duties include, but not limited to:
Amongst other things, you will:
- Lead the development and execution of the Group’s financial strategy in line with business objectives.
- Act as key advisor to the CEO and Board on financial planning, performance and risk.
- Support with acquisitions and high-level commercial decisions.
- Maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, tax and reporting requirements.
- Lead audit processes, identifying and mitigating operational risks.
- Lead, develop and mentor a growing finance team, building a high-performance culture with strong collaboration and accountability.

- Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Have experience in a similar role, ideally within a growth-focused environment.
