The Cooper Associates Foundation is looking to support local charitable organisations in need of funding.
We launched our foundation in 2019 and since then we have supported a number of local good causes including Reminiscence Learning, Crowcombe Primary School, Bridgwater Sea Cadets and local coronavirus support groups.
Neil Wyatt, Head of Marketing at Cooper Associates Group and a Trustee of the Cooper Associates Foundation, said:
“The Cooper Associates Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Cooper Associates Group, acting to support charities through clients and partners associated with the Cooper Associates community. Our giving is guided by themes, with the main focus on children and young people who have special needs through illness or disability, or who are disadvantaged in other ways. We will also look to support other good causes within the region.
2020 is a year unlike any other in recent memory and we know there are a number of charities who have experienced a significant reduction in funding as a result of the pandemic.
Our Foundation is keen to support small to medium sized charities that can benefit substantially from the fundraising we can donate. We will only consider national charities where they can clearly demonstrate any funds we donate will be spent within our region. Importantly, all of our Foundation’s administration costs are covered, so everything we raise goes straight to the charities we support.”
We encourage local charities who are looking for support to contact us. If you know of a local charity or organisation in need of support please share this message with them. Those wishing to apply for funding should email foundation@cooperassociatesltd.com where we can provide details about our current themes and funding criteria.
