The Cooper Associates Foundation is delighted to be supporting two Christmas projects, providing children living in difficult circumstances with a Christmas present.
Our Foundation was pleased to support an appeal by Mountbatten Nursing Home, organised by their Deputy Matron, Paula Cottrill.
Paula has been producing Christmas gift bags for a number of children at a local school. In the last two years Paula has scaled up the operation, reaching more children who may otherwise go without a Christmas present.
Our donation enabled the appeal to purchase a range of gifts for less fortunate children, including games, stationary, toiletries and footballs.
We were also delighted to once again support Christmas Sparkle, a Taunton based organisation founded in 2015, with the aim of giving a Christmas present to every child aged 0-18 years living in difficult circumstances in the Taunton and Wellington community.
Presents are donated through various local agencies such as Halcon One, Women’s Refuge, in addition to parent and family support advisers (who work with vulnerable families in schools throughout Taunton Deane), health visitors and many other agencies.
