The Cooper Associates Foundation is thrilled to once again support Christmas Sparkle, a Taunton based organisation with the goal of providing a Christmas present to every child living in difficult circumstances in the Taunton and Wellington community.
The Cooper Associates Foundation donated £2,000 worth of toys, clothes, accessories and gifts to Christmas Sparkle, for them to distribute. All gifts were selected by Victoria Tremear and Kelly Bruford, who delivered the gifts to Christmas Sparkle earlier this month.
Christmas Sparkle distribute presents through various local agencies such as Halcon One, Women’s Refuge and other agencies, in addition to parent and family support advisers who work with vulnerable families in schools throughout Taunton Deane.
This year Christmas Sparkle has supported 2,153 children and young people who will receive a package of gifts, a 45% increase on the number of presents distributed in 2021.
Every request received by Christmas Sparkle was fulfilled, including requests from several schools who have previously never requested gifts.
