The donation was provided in aid of the installation of a new Safe Play Trim Trail, an innovative playground apparatus designed to improve the core strength, agility, stamina, concentration and problem-solving abilities of the schools’ children.
After a lesson in safety, the children are already testing themselves on the challenging assault course, developing their physical and mental abilities as they play.
Mr Nick Arnold, Headmaster of Lyngford Park Primary, said:
“We are delighted to finally have this for our younger members of our school.
“Children in the Nursery can use parts of it and are enjoying it. Our Reception and Key Stage 1 children love challenging themselves – their playtimes have become even more enjoyable!
“With the Nursery having complete internal refurbishment, and with new outdoor renovations nearing completion, and with all the other school improvements taking place in the classroom and across the site, we are all proud of how out school continues to improve.”
