David is a Senior Manager within Cooper Associates Accountancy.

David handles a portfolio of owner managed businesses including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, covering a wide range of sectors. He especially enjoys dealing with medical profession and property clients but is happy to act for many individuals with a variety of backgrounds. He has a passion for taking a ‘hands on’ approach and looks to build long term business relationships with all of his clients.

David has been working as a chartered accountant since 1992, since he completed his training with an established Taunton-based firm. He has been involved with a number of charities over the years and is currently on the board of trustees for Age UK Somerset, Arts Taunton and Blackdown District scouts.

Away from work, David spends time with his family or watching sport. He has three children and is thrilled that grandchildren are now arriving. Unfortunately, a bad hip prevents him from participating in sports, but he is still a keen swimmer.
